2 of the legs missing the metal screw holder in them and 2 legs are split. the right side of the corner piece was damaged at the corner so the wood inside the couch was brock and had to repair it at a shop because customer service is yet to do something about it. i received the couches less than 2 weeks after i ordered them but customer service havent answered me in 2 months. they keep saying we are waiting for a response in covid, lol what does covid have to do with it. in covid i guess its easy to make the money and ship the items but its not easy to keep the couches in good conditions, weird. the repair for the couch cost me 900 dollars because they had to unstitch it from the bottom and replace the broken corner wood planks on the inside and stitch it back up for me.

We only received the sofa. Modway claimed Amazon’s shipper lost the loveseat and armchair so they sent out replacements. They say Amazon contacted the shipper, Estes, and told them not to deliver the replacement pieces to us. Amazon states that’s not something they do. After 1 month there was never a resolution that provided me with all pieces of furniture so Amazon offered me a full refund and allowed me to keep the sofa. I used the refund to buy the loveseat and armchair separately at a much higher cost because the pieces are beautiful and so comfortable. We won’t receive the pieces until March 30th, but the sofa seems to be holding up well as we lay across it for hours and the cushions fluff right back up. Also, it fits our family of 5 with no problem, but may only work for 3 or 4 adults, depending on size.
The ordeal to get a full set has been stressful and it was a headache dealing with the blame game between the companies, but I feel it shows how amazing the furniture is for me to continue to endure it through to a resolution. I would definitely buy again, which is why I provided 5 stars even though receiving the items has been difficult.

Beautiful fabric and color. Simple clean lines. Definitely Mid Century Modern design in My opinion.
Firm as well as comfortable. Appears to be very solid and durable.
Very nicely packaged and protected. The only assembly is to install the legs.
I do wish that protective covers for the arms were available for purchase.
Don’t look for the delivery to include bringing it into Your home. Mine was left in the driveway and I was asked to sign before I actually saw the furniture…FYI. All in all, I am very happy with My purchase.

My chairs and ottomans were delivered today and they are GORGEOUS. Exactly as I hoped they would be. The fabric is wonderful quality and the pieces are very solid. I imagine they will last a lifetime, for sure! I am sooooo very happy with my purchase! They are firm, which I like because they won’t break down and get saggy. I added a medium pillow for slouchy comfort and a small pillow to rest my head on too, when I’m feeling the need to be cozy.
The solid frame and wood legs are outstanding! I couldn’t be happier!

Quite honestly, these chairs have exceeded my expectations! I was worried that the fabric would appear cheap, but it’s a beautiful linen-look…without the wrinkles. I was prepared for the citrus color to be nearly any shade of yellow and was thrilled that the school-bus yellow was exactly what I was secretly hoping for. I knew the cushions would be stiff, but I didn’t want something fluffy and soft. It’s also large enough that there’s plenty of room to curl up with a good book. Adding throw pillows softens it up a bit and fills out some of the extra seating depth. I do wish the cushions were upholstered in a way that they could be flipped, but I suppose you can’t have everything.

This furniture is great, well made, and great size. The only downside is it’s stiff and not comfortable but after we break it in it should be.

These chairs look great in our living room. They are not, however, designed to be sat in. The seat is very deep which may work well for those with long legs (6’5″ height and up) but for those of us who have never played in the NBA, the seat doesn’t work well. I’m 5’11” and I can’t sit in the chair with my lower back up against the backrest without my legs sticking straight out. I look silly that way. I have to ignore my mother’s admonitions to sit straight if I want to use the backrest. I don’t look much better slouching. My only other complaint is that these chairs are as hard as a wood bench without being as comfortable. My guess is that they’ll be broken in by December, 2032, if my cat doesn’t destroy them sooner. In all fairness though, the fabric seems to be very sturdy (stiff) so the cat may have to work hard. My younger kids seem to like them. Their feet don’t reach the ground either so they curl up with a good book and scrunch their knees up under their chins and look as happy as clams. For cushioning they sit on top of a couple of folded blankets to make it tolerable. I heartily recommend these chairs if you have family or neighbors who overstay their welcome. Park their backsides in one of these babies and the visits will be brief. BTW, The three star rating is because my wife likes them ; )

Any negative reviews are now subject to second guessing from me. This chair is comfortable and super cool looking. Is it a little stiff as far as cushioning, yes but it feels like it will soften with usage. Delivery was faster than expected and it was a straight forward assembly. Took a about 45 minutes from unpacking to final assembly by myself. I am NOT a very handy person but I still did a good job putting it together, lol. Thanks Modway and Amazon!
