First of all, the mushroom top had white color transfer that I noticed while it was still sealed and new. These type of stains do not come off of this material. It’s super cute and holds a lot for being small, BUT within a week my 18 month old managed to knock the wooden plate that sits under the top of the mushroom. And I was not pleased to find staples/nails sticking out. It could’ve been really bad had I not been there when he did this. It is really cute and functional but dangerous as this is meant for kids and said plate is not hard to break off exposing kids to sharp nails and staples.

I went out on a limb and got this for my daughter for her birthday. She didn’t know something like this even existed so it wasn’t something she asked for. Well, she reports it is one of her favorite gifts she got this year. That’s really all I need to hear to recommend the product to others, but here are some findings. You may be surprised how much your kid likes and wants one without knowing they existed beforehand if that makes sense.
It’s as easy as can be to assemble and stores in very little space if you need to do that. Assembly took me about 60 seconds, and most of that time was unboxing. My daughter is 9 years old so durability is great – as she is not heavy. My 14 year old boy also sat on it though and it holds up to that just fine. The seat itself that looks like a mushroom top is also cushioned and comfortable for her. It’s super basic, but honestly really cool for a kid. I even think it’s neat. My daughter just loves it. The storage space is small but a really nice bonus as well!
