These chairs are not your typical side chair…they have a wide seat, firm cushion, and so sturdy! They were also very easy to put together! The quality of the materials used was worth every penny, and they fit perfectly in the space I needed them for. They really elevate the luxe look I’m going for in my living room!

Beautiful rich scarlet red, great size and comfortable, looks like leather and I love them. My husband is 6′ 2″ and his first comment was “These are the most comfortable arm-less chairs I’ve ever sat in”. Now here’s the BUT. Like me you may have experienced problems with “assemble-yourself furniture”. One of the most common is poor packaging leads to broken, chipped and scratched furniture. Although a pain, that’s an easy problem to fix. Just return it and you get a refund or a replaced product. However, what happens when you love the piece you bought but the parts don’t fit? I have been told that the lack of quality control at the END of the production line is what causes these problems. Meaning: no one is checking that the right size bolt is in the box, or the fabric isn’t ripped, or the shelf is the right length, etc. before shipping.
This chair has two front legs that have to be slid into the corner of the chair frame and bolted onto the corner block. They were too tight. The legs would NOT slide and a rubber mallet and some elbow grease did nothing. This corner block is a piece of unfinished plywood attached under the frame. But the corner blocks on my chairs were attached WAY too close to the frame and did not allow enough space for the legs to slide into place. I’m handy and have woodworking tools, so using a wood chisel I chiseled out a piece of wood at least an 1/8th of an inch thick. That’s how much too tight they were! Then the legs slid right into place, the bolts lined up with the holes, I tightened the bolts and VOILA! I love these chairs, but it did take at least 30 minutes per chair of messing around with chipping off wood to get it those legs to slide in. I’m handy, so was willing to do it, but if this sounds too much, don’t buy them. Buy IKEA instead where quality control is outstanding. Hope this helps you!!!

We haven’t found anything to dislike about these chairs. My husband put both together in about 1 hour. There were no miss drilled screw holes or uneven legs. These chairs are so roomy, too and they’re larger than I expected. I’m a big girl, 5′ 7″ tall and 207 lbs. I felt very secure and comfortable. We purchased the white ones and the faux leather is supple and nicely padded.

I recently moved into a new home that has a very large sitting room and we didn’t have enough furniture to sit on so I was on the hunt for a modern looking comfortable set of chairs that wouldn’t break the bank and came across these. I loved the look and color options (ended up going with the chocolate brown ones) and the price so I decided to go for it. I ordered 2 of them and one had to be sent back because the screw holes to attach the seat to the back didn’t match up at all. I mean, it wasn’t even close. It was like a full inch off. Fortunately I was able to send it back and get an exchange for another one without much problem and the second one was fine. I didn’t take off any stars for this issue because I know quality control things happen and in the end I got a fine working product without it costing me any more. Yes it was a bit of a hassle but the important thing is that I eventually got a working chair. That being said, here’s what I like/don’t like about these chairs:
Pros:
– STYLE: These are very modern, chic and versatile looking chairs that look much more expensive than they are when they’re all put together! They could be used in anything from a bedroom to a living room to an office waiting room and they would fit right in. I love the style and design. They are simple, yet elegant and could go with pretty much any decor!
– COMFORT: While it’s no La-Z-Boy, this chair is really quite soft and comfortable while still being firm and supportive. The seat and back rest are luxuriously wide and will accommodate any body type/size which is something I really love. The backrest is tall as well offering great support.
– EASY TO ASSEMBLE: It truly doesn’t get any easier than this to assemble as furniture goes. The chairs come in 4 pieces (seat, back rest/legs and two front legs) along with 8 bolts and sets of washers, one allen wrench and very easy to follow instructions. Just bolt the seat down and the front legs in and you’re done! It took me 10-15 minutes tops from box to butt-in-seat. I love it when furniture doesn’t require a PhD to put together or marital counseling afterward.
– STURDY: Aside from the one uneven leg I had to fix (see below) these chairs feel very sturdy when you sit in them. They don’t sink or sag and the wide base and low center of gravity makes them feel very secure.
Cons:
– UNEVEN: Two out of the three chairs I received (including the one I sent back) were uneven when assembled, meaning one leg wasn’t quite long enough and wobbled when sat on. This is annoying but was very easily remedied with one of those sticky chair leg slider nub things (clearly I don’t know the technical term for it) that I happened to have on hand (see pic). That was enough to fix the problem for me.
– NOT THE HIGHEST QUALITY MATERIALS: While this chair is comfortable and does look nice and expensive, the materials used definitely aren’t he highest quality, but this is a case of getting what you pay for. I think they are certainly high enough quality, but don’t think you’re getting some real leather hardwood piece of Ashley furniture here. For example, I attached a picture of one of the feet on the leg bottoms so you can see the warped excess plastic that I had to break off. Not a deal breaker by any means, but just shows its price point. Also, there were some minor nicks and marks on the legs, but not bad enough to return for.
– PACKAGING: While I appreciate that there was minimal packaging, items should be packaged such that they are safe in transit. Two out of the three chairs I received had giant holes in the boxes when they arrived with a leg poking through. Fortunately there was no damage to the chairs as a result, but maybe a tiny bit of Styrofoam would’ve been in order. Also, all of the chairs were dusty upon arrival.
All in all I’m really pleased with the end result even though I had to send one back. They look great and are comfortable to sit in! Assuming they hold up relatively well (will update later on) I can definitely recommend these for the price! I did NOT receive these chairs for free or at a discount. I paid full price. Hope this helps someone else!

I recently spent several months suffering from disc problems in my back and a broken tailbone. I have to work all day in an office chair, and by the time I got home, I was in agony and vacillated between pain and numbness in my limbs from the pressure I was putting on my spine and tailbone. On a whim, I bought this chair and I cannot begin the express the relieve it brought me.
FYI – for reference I am 6’6″, 300lbs +, and this chair was an awesome fit for me. It is sturdy, but has enough give in the seat to take the pressure off your spine. I know it’s an accent chair, but at home I am using this in my study for working at a desk, watching TV, or doing whatever I need (note: if you’re shorter than 6’6″, this might not be ideal for deskwork, but it works great for me). As for assembly, it’s easy. Two things to note – 1) all the parts are inside the seat of the chair, you just have to remove the cover, and 2) the assembly consists of putting a total of 8 total bolts into the four legs. It takes fifteen minutes, and I did it while in pretty intense back pain.
I actually have two of these now – one gray and one white. The gray one looks fantastic and contemporary, the white one looks a little dated, but is still just as sturdy and comfortable.

This armless chair is comfortable and easy to assemble. It also arrived early.
