I have three of these beds. I like the simple design and drawers with no handles for the kids to step on or hit on the way out of bed. Solid construction. The kids haven’t found a way to break them yet. Assembly wasn’t too difficult. Some parts were tricky but overall it was easy. Doing the third was easy after all the practice.

Purchased around May 2021.
Had teenage son put it together with no issues. Seems really sturdy. Drawers has some slight scuffing on them right out of the box. As of January 2022, holding up really well.
UPDATE: July 2023, bed still holding up great! Top of drawers have are showing signs of wear due to my child resting/dangling their feet on the side of the bed.

Well made product and instruction are in ENGLISH not China version, and easy to understand and follow.
Recommend you use a drill with Philips head bit and an Allen head bit as this will speed up process. First one I put together took about and hour and a 15 minutes. The second one took 40 minutes. A couple of suggestions – don’t put the JRN nuts in as suggested in step 4 as they will fall out, rather insert them 1 by one at steps 7, 8, 9, and 10 as you insert JCB connectors. In steps 7,8,9,10 insert the JCB connectors in the top holes first, lifting panel as necessary to align holes. Also follow advice in step 7 concerning adjusting the JRN nut with a screwdriver.
All in all pretty decent product with very good instructions.

This product was purchased for a University dorm room. A twin size bed was the best fit to utilize the limited space in the room. A high quality mattress was purchased for this bed frame as there is no box spring required. Assembly was very straight forward. We are very pleased with this product. If you are looking to purchase a bed such as this, you cannot beat the price,quality and free delivery from Amazon.ca.

This is a nice bed. Assemble instructions are easy to read, but the individual pieces of wood are not marked or numbered as suggested in the instructions. It is made from particle board and will probably last until my daughter outgrows it, but it won’t last forever.

I put this together on my own with a manual screwdriver, took about 3-4 hours and was fun to assemble. Instructions are quite easy to follow if you pay attention to the details. Intuition helps as was mentioned by another reviewer on the .com site I think. It’s simple, inexpensive and I really like it personally. Only downside is that it is pretty heavy, and it was a bit of a challenge for me to maneuver it to the other side of the room after I put it together. So, put it together where you want it! Upside of this is the wood seems to be really good quality, and I suspect it will last. I’ll update if anything changes, but I think this is a fantastic buy for the price.

well, building this was a pain… i did break one of the corners of the support pieces that a screw was supposed to go through, but i was able to ignore it and keep going and i ended up with a viable bed despite my Herculean trials. i don’t even know how i broke the corner, so i’m guessing they’re pretty easy to break. they’re pressed wood after all.
the instructions are clear at times and confusing at others. i studied them like the rosetta stone and i still wound up somehow doing something backwards and i had to start completely over a time or two, causing me to spend 6 or 7 long hours building.
if you manage to get everything together the correct way without breaking anything, you end up with a decent bedframe. however, it’s very narrow… my twin mattress is a surprisingly tight fit, but i mean, it does go. it just means i need to be careful lifting it up to put a bedsheet on lest i somehow tear the frame apart. no biggie.
the drawers are pretty good, but like the other reviewers say, maybe don’t put anything crazy heavy. the bottom part is a thin sheet and the support comes from this weird plastic wedge you put on it at the last step. i would trust these drawers full of shirts but not full of jeans, if that makes sense.
honestly, unless you have a reason to buy this frame specifically (i went with this because the inegrated drawers were a must for me), i hesitate to recommend it. it works for me, but that’s because my standards are very low and also obscure. it does LOOK good. and it does hold my bed. even with a broken support it never seems like it’s going to cartoonishly collapse in the middle of the night. my two (EXTREMELY HEAVY) boxes of parts came with nothing missing and nothing extra, as well as pretty quickly. do with that what you will.

I knew it’s a crazy gamble to buy this type of product online. My biggest on Amazon yet. I have a picture, price, item description but no Amazon reviews! This isn’t a $5 item that if it disappoints you can just say, “Oh Well”. If this is a lemon you are screwed because while “returnable”, this manufactured wood/particle board/MDF stuff is heavy and the packing so re-pack impossible it is not really practical to return. So allow me to be the first review for you!
Features and price were the main reasons for buying. I needed a bed for my teenage daughter, so she had to like it, storage drawers were a must to open up space in her room, but I didn’t want to spend too much knowing she’ll be off to college in a few years. I didn’t need a bed that would be there in 15, even 10 years. This bed met all those needs. The only one we found that did, and I looked all over the place locally, in this big suburban town. We are glad we bought this bed and are happy with it. For the price it is ideal.
This bed is ideal for her. She likes the simple styling, low profile, and storage drawers for clothes (of course). The drawer space is plenty. Sufficient really, for the more drawer space you have the more clothes you can hide and forget that you have! The bed is sturdy and feels solid. I especially like that the drawers are integral and part of the bed, not just a big drawer box that slides under the bed. There are alot of those out there. That’s fake to me as a “storage bed”.
My wife and daughter put this together fairly easy in roughly two hours. Instructions are straightforward but a little assembly know-how and intuition helped. Instructions do need a serious review however. The steps don’t make the best logical sense. That’s the reason for the lost fifth star in this review! They help get the assembly done but Prepac if you are reading this- go see how IKEA does it. They make it real easy and simple and clear. Other comments I read elsewhere online about difficult to move is true so put it in place before you pack the drawers, and assemble it in the same room it will stay in.
Now you do get what you pay for, there’s a reason why the price point is where it is, don’t expect to get Ethan Allen furniture for IKEA price, but if you want a simple styled bed with storage this is the one.
This bed is IKEA-like just that instructions not as clear or logical. I keep mentioning IKEA so I should say that they were the first place I looked for such a bed. But they don’t even have one like this. Sleep well, store well, save $ well.

The directions are nonexistent!! Nothing is labeled all you have is pictures to go by and guess what goes where. My husband is very smart and extremely knowledge about putting things together and he had trouble because the directions are non existent. Took about 3 hours to put together.

We had a serious illness in our family so unfortunately I was not able to assemble this bed as soon as I got it. (It was delivered two months ago)
I was so excited to (finally) put it together for my daughter this weekend, only to discover this bed was shipped without a single drawer slide. I tore apart every piece of foam and cardboard. Not one of the 12 slides (6 pairs) was sent. I had taken apart my daughters old bed in order to have room to put together this furniture so now she has no bed.
I tried contacting the seller but they told me they cannot help because it has been too long and suggested I can try contacting the manufacturer to order some new parts. This would be fine if I BROKE them or lost them. But they were never delivered! Why am I paying for the parts needed to build the product I already purchased?! That is crazy!
I tried contacting the manufacturer but they only have customer service Monday to Friday from 10 am PT to 4 pm PT. I sent an email but I am assuming the manufacturer does not monitor their email over weekends because I have not heard back.
I LOVE this brand. I purposely looked for the PrePac name because I think they are far superior to South Shore or IKEA. (For reasonably priced kids furniture) The PrePac instructions are so much better than any other brand. The quality is much better for the price range. But I am SO disappointed in this customer service.
I have sent an email to the manufacturer and I will call them. At 11 am my time. Monday.
I know the delay in building was my fault. But it just was not possible to get to this until now. I would have hoped for some kind of assistance and/or compassion from this seller.

A couple holes needed to be re-drilled, a couple screws really needed to be forced into holes. I had assembled two queen size beds that went together a lot easier, in the past. Nice product but it does require patience and a lot of elbow grease. Not for the weak or elderly to assemble.
