Very sturdy self standing umbrella when used with the same manufacturer’s base. I love you can crank it open and closed, and it does tilt if needed. My yard is baking this summer with over 13 days of 100+ F temps, in California Central Valley. This umbrella is saving my veggies! I plan on getting more to help other plants survive this heat. Provides ample shade for area designated. I had no problem assembling on my own (senior citizen woman).

Received our umbrella yesterday, took out of the box, was a brighter teal than I was expecting. (I thought it would be more aqua then turquoise.) Put into a stand underneath our wrought iron table and chairs, not 100% stable so I “fixed it” a little. Be ready when you push the button at the top, to tilt the umbrella because it falls sideways. Also the “metal pin” that goes through the hole to secure it, is to short, barely made it out the other side, so it falls out 😕; they need to make it longer. We will be keeping this umbrella and I will update if anything bad happens over the next few weeks/months.

This shade umbrella creates a space to chill out of the heat of direct sun. It’s a good size for a small 4 person table. With the adjustable pole you can angle the top to shade as the sun moves. I really like the weight and color I got (green) because it really blocks all of the sun and looks good at my Glamping sites. So far this umbrella is holding up well even in the wind and constant bright sun of the Alaskan summer.
