The chair looks smart. Easy assembly. The ergonomically mesh back is firm at first, thus gives great lumbar support, but has already relaxed to the point the support isn’the noticeable. The seat padding was the biggest disappointment – After using for a week I needed an extra seat cushion bc the padding is negligible. I like the arms and enjoy being able to lift them. Would I buy this chair again? No bc of the lack of seat cushioning.

It took several weeks to get it delivered, but it was worth it. The plastic pieces are very thick, almost with the strength of metal. The only things missing are adjustable lumbar support and adjustable arm rest height, but for the price it’s great.
UPDATE: After only a year of light use the tilt mechanism is failing. Besides tilting backwards, like it should, it tilt sideways.
UPDATE 2: Their customer service is horrible. I’ve been going back and forth with them for weeks now. They originally said they would send a replacement part, but now want me to “prove” the parts is broken (they changed their story). Amazon won’t help with this since they are just the distributor. I hope it works out since having a chair break under normal use in less than 1 year is idiotic.

Quick review:
– It is comfortable
– easy to put together
– arms that go up and down are great
– IMPORTANT: The chair is SUPER noisy if you don’t spray WD-40 all over the screws and such. After initially being disappointed when I first got it, after spraying it with WD-40 weeks ago it has been totally quiet
– The back mesh is a little slack, but it doesn’t affect how comfortable it is
– I read some other reviews that talked about it being scratchy or something and I have not found that to be the case.
– Good value. I bought and returned one of the nouhaus chairs for like twice the price before I got this one. Comparing the two, I am happy with the price and quality of this chair. That other chair came with sweet roller blade wheels for some reason, that was sort of cool I guess. This one doesn’t have those.

グレーは想像の10倍位安っぽい色でした。
どうしても買うならブラックのほうがマシだと思います。
ローラーの動きも微妙です。

Major Points:
1) Do not assemble the chair on your own! You won’t be able to. It’s very difficult to get the screws to properly line up with assistance, without assistance it’s an impossibility. It took me and my friend about 2 hours to finally get it together. Note: The instructions are all small pictures with no words.
2) Overpriced. It is NOT worth paying more than $100-150 CAD for a chair like this. I paid $229 and regret it. This chair, from its all plastic exterior to its fabric mesh back, is simply not worth a higher price point.
3) True to photo. The chair looks exactly as pictured, and the colour is as photographed.
4) Weird smell. The chair does have a weird pee like smell at first.
5) Came with all its parts plus bonus screws and dowels.

It’s exactly what I wanted — a simple, uncomplicated and comfortable chair for my home office. It is just the right size, I like the material — not too ht. And I like having the option of using the side arms or lifting them. It’s perfect for what I needed at the right price.

I just got my chair delivered today. And I was excited to put it together. I am an Amazon Prime member, so I got free shipping, and it only took 2 Days. Amazon Prime is something I’d highly recommend to people. You get Free 2 Day shipping on eligible items – which is a lot of them. Also included in you membership, you get free Amazon Prime Video streaming of tons of movies and TV shows, music, and a numbers of other benefits. All that for only $10 bucks and change per month. And no, I don’t work for Amazon… HAHA
It only took me about 20-30 minutes to unpack the parts, and assemble it. I think it was fairly easy to put together. It came in about six separate parts, with about a dozen or so big screws to put in, but really no problem to assemble. I think it would be a waste to spend $35-$40 dollars extra to have it assembled for you. It’s not rocket science, just 4 or 5 easy steps in the instructions. Just put the right screws, into the right holes, and you’ll be fine.
Anyway, I really love the color and style of this chair. Aesthetics were important to me, in that I have a lot for grey and silver in my apartment decor. This chair fit right into that color scheme, so I was very happy to find a chair that mixed the grey and metal colors so well.
One of the other aspects I was seeking in a desk chair, was the flip-up arm rests. These are well constructed, and give the option to change, depending on your mood at the moment. Some of my past desk chairs would have a hard time rolling under my desk(s) because of the arm rest, but now that is no longer an issue with this chair.
I will say two slightly negative things about the flips-up arm rest though….
First off, I am a pretty big guy. Like 5′ 11″ and 250 LBS with a gut. When I put the arm rests down, they rub up against the sides of my stomach. I barely fit in. It’s not a deal-breaker for me though, since I had always planned to keep the arm rests flipped up 95% of the time anyway. However, it would have been nice if they had made this chair a bit wider.
I took a tape measure and measured it…
*From the outside edges of the arm rests ( arm rest -to- arm rest ), it is 25 inches wide overall.
*From the inside edges of the arm rests, ( arm rest -to- arm rest ) it is only 18.5 inches wide.
*From the outside edges of the seat cushion itself, it is 20 inches wide, at it’s widest point.
Now, I am a big guy as I said ( I wear a size 42 inch waist pants and my gut hangs 2 inches wider than my waist ), but it seems to me that you’d have to be a slim-to-average width person overall at most, in order to be able to put the arm rest in the down position, and still have enough of room on the sides to feel comfortable. If you are a stocky or heavy-set person, who intends to use the arm-rests a lot, this chair is not the best of choices. If you don’t intend to use the arm rests a lot, then like me, it’s probably not an issue for you. I guess at worst, you could put down only one of the arm rest, or neither.
Other than that, my only other slight gripe with this chair, is the roughness of the mesh fabric. I have always had either real leather, or faux leather desk chairs at home before. The only thing with leather is that oft times, the leather can feel too hot and sticky – even though clothing, or ice cold in the winter. I thought that this time I’d try a fabric chair instead.
The seat cushion itself is a very nice thick cushion with good comfort to sit on, so that is a plus. However, the mesh fabric is rough. If you are wearing long pants, the abrasiveness of the mesh fabric isn’t going to be something that you will really feel. However, if you are wearing shorts pants, or a short sleeve shirt, the mesh fabric is annoying. You especially feel it if you are resting your bare ams on the arm rests. Maybe the abrasiveness of the fabric will eventually soften and smooth-out some with normal wear, but who knows… Again, not a total deal-breaker for me though, but just another thing that they should improve on with this chair. I think some people would probably not want to deal with the rough fabric.
Even though I thought there were some negative points with the width of seating space between the arm rests, and the with the roughness of the mesh fabric, it still an attractive and solid chair for a reasonable price. I can only give it 4 stars since I had some negatives I mentioned, but 4 stars is still positive review overall.
Overall, I think it’s a very attractive, and sturdy design.
Would I recommend other to buy this chair ? YES.
In fact, I am thinking about buying another one for the desk in my other room. lol
