If I had paid £150 I would be happy enough. But some areas of this are simply not up to the £300 pricepoint I paid. Apparently the warranty is not on moving parts based on other reviews.

The chair arrived promptly and in very good condition. I was surprised at how heavy and ruggedly built the components were. All the parts were wrapped in paper, plastic, bubble wrap or a combination.
The instructions were I single sheet of plctographs which, after looking them over were quite clear and fairly easy to follow. The only tool needed was a hex key which was included in the hardware package.
Assembly took an unhurried 30 minutes or so.
I am very pleased with the purchase. The chair is very sturdy, nothing is loose, the pneumatic cylinder is firm, not springy the seat is comfortable and seems to fit well.
To those reviewers who had the feeling of being thrown out, did you install the base plate backwards? Clicks from the seat? Are all your screws tight? Same for the arms. I cranked the screws down tight ( and it took more turns than expected ) and I felt no hint of the screws stripping.
When installing the base plate I went over the screws twice before moving on to the backrest. When the backrest was done, I checked the baseplate again.
Fully assembled, I am more than satisfied. It looks good and feels good. Granted, it’s new and may loosen over time. Still nothing difficult to correct.

It’s been nearly two years now and I’m still happy with my purchase. The screws are still tight and the seat cushions are holding up nicely. I’ve done what I could to protect the fabric from three cats and it still looks good if a bit hairy.
I’m unqualified to judge fitness for 24/7 use (give me a break) but for home office / routine use this fits the bill. ( Mine had the welding beads others have mentioned. However, I am not one to routinely flip a chair over to scrutinize the interior of the base. )

Utility of the chair has, unfortunately taken a serious hit; the pneumatic tube has given up the ghost. I have to use the chair at it’s lowest position or not at all.

I have owned three of these executive high-back leather swivel chairs. This one is the best. It is roomy, adjusts easy and is outstanding with unbelievable comfort.

I purchased this chair for the weight capacity reasons and the generally good reviews.
The usual users of my chair range from 250lbs up to 350lbs. None of which are considered tall people. We’re just overweight.
PROS
– Assembled easy enough, although one bolt wanted to attempt crossthreading.
– Hasn’t fallen apart.
CONS
– Does not recline unless you are FORCING it to stay in the reclined position.
– Recline stiffness adjustment does not decrease to a normal level. You have Stiff, Stiffer, and You’re Not Going Anywhere.
– NOT comfortable for long periods of time.
– Hardly any cushion whatsoever. Feels like I’m just sitting on a thick layer of laundry. The picture is misleading.
– Rocks side to side already, out of the box.
– Noisy. Because of the arrangement of the materials (thickness of padding, proximity of overpuffed leather against leather), you end up hearing the chair rub against itself any time you adjust your sitting position.
– Due to the lack of a proper reclining function, I tend to sit in more of a lounged position (posterior more toward the front and slouched against the back of the chair), and with the lumbar support, this is bit uncomfortable.
CONCLUSION
I would NOT buy this chair again if given the option.
Given the experience of this chair, Flash Furniture is not on my radar for anything that will be gracing my doorstep.
I was looking for an alternative to the big box store (OD) and I really should have spent the EXTRA $150 on one of their models instead.
Unless you are 6’2″+, sit perfectly upright, and are impervious to seat cushions, stay away from this chair.

This is a solid purchase, its sturdy and holds me up well. The base is heavy solid steel frame,
Chrome looks good, People in the office commented on the look, was easy to assembly it’s just a few Allen head bolts. Im a big man and its comfortable and the piston that holds the chair up is massive, i bet its 10 lbs. alone, Looks cool too.
While your ordering get a screwdriver with Allen heads, amazon has them cheap most of the multibit ones will have them. Allen wrench is included in the box, But trust me spend the 8-9 bucks and get a screwdriver type.

I ordered this office chair and was initially very happy at the price and overall look of the chair, this is where my “happy” ended.
As a person of larger proportions, I needed a chair for the larger person so when I found this on offer (25% off) and on reading the ad I couldn’t believe my eyes and so I placed an order straight away.
The chair came very quickly and boxed well, all parts inside the box were well wrapped up so as to cause no damage to any other part inside the main packaging box. Once all the individual parts were taken out and un wrapped to make sure everything was there and in good order, it was. The chair itself took 2 of us around 30-45 minuets to put together mainly due to the weight as it is quite a heavy piece of furniture as it arms and base are actual metal rather than coated plastic like a lot of others.
Now, as I said I am a person of larger proportions ordering a chair that can hold up to 35 stone. I am way under top weight limit but over most chair limits and so finding this item priced low and weight rated so high an amazing find ….. UNTIL I sat in it and tried to use the recline feature
Its at his point I felt like a stone in a catapult being fired across the room.
Now i should have realised there may have been something wrong with the mechanism with it being heavy to push back to recline and before anyone brings up the twist knob to loosen, this had already been done as this is not my first rodeo with office/gaming chairs.
I sat in a plush seat, yes lots of padding, happy at what I had bought and put together, reclined and KAPOW I lifted my feet slightly and was “catapulted” across the room in a “what the …..” moment i landed face down, this is NOT an exaggeration !!! I picked myself up looked back and i swear the damn thing was laughing at me…. as was my son who way crying with laughter. i checked the chair again to make sure i had not made any mistakes on putting together, no mistakes were made. i tried again to recline the chair, this time a little more gingerly and POW … off i went again.
I called Amazon to ask for a replacement as i actually like the seating as it is very plush, comfortable and fits a larger body shape well, the Amazon customer services were extremely helpful and ordered a replacement right away and organised for pick up of the medieval ballista disguised as an office chair.
the replacement came 2 days later, this time the outer box left a lot to be desired and was open, i checked all parts were there and accepted the delivery.
Once again, chair was made up, checked and sat in, THIS time the recline worked well and could be moved and not be fired across the room. However, i advise against buying after having had 2 delivered, i found the second had little padding on the back and could feel the bar in the back, over time this WILL cause back issues and not help your posture in the slightest.
I have given 1 stars and have been very generous with this as with the issues over 2 chairs in the space of 1 week i find they seam to be either rushed to be made or made by someone who simply does not care about who or where they work for.
If they can sort the issues I have had the chair will be very good but because of the issues I had I would advise to stay away from this chair and look elsewhere which unfortunately is what I have found I must do.

Though the product doesn’t have many parts to assemble, the ones that were were really annoying to make align properly. When assembled the chair cushions are indeed very soft, but their most “Relaxed” Recline tension setting is still super stiff and requires a lot of pressure to make relax, instead of being able to simply lean against the backrest and make the chair go back like any other desk chair you might buy. You actually have to push backwards with your legs to make it go backwards even in their loosest setting. If you want a chair you can relax in, this is not that chair.
