The chairs are beautiful and I’m going to love them. Instructions seem easy enough – but I do not have the strength to put it together myself, apparently. I can only get the bolts in about 3/4 of the way, not enough to tighten everything. Could never sit on them like this. I’ll have to hire a handyman. So, fine if you are a handyman or woman with super strength or married to one, but otherwise pretty difficult for the average woman to put together (and impossible, in my case) in my opinion. But the chairs are nice, solid and will eventually be perfect. Just don’t believe all the reviews saying the chairs are easy for one average strength and skill woman to put together. They’re not.

For chairs that cost roughly sixty bucks each, I figured I had nothing to lose and didn’t expect much. Needless to say, I was impressed. Each chair is assembled with ten hex bolts in three different lengths. It takes about ten minutes to assemble a chair if you use a hex driver, using the included Allen key would probably take a lot longer. These chairs are solid, have excellent fit and finish, and look like they should sell for a lot more than I spent on them. Is this Eathan Allan quality? No, but would you be hard pressed to appreciate these? Answer is still “no.” Bought four and they look great (and are comfortable too).

The color is more matted brown and cheaply painted. The screws that they sent with the chairs to put them together were not machined to fit the receivers, and the chair legs broke/split as the screws were being inserted into the legs. Very bad choice on their part.

These are great chairs. I bought them to replace some old ones. They are pretty sturdy and very simple to put together. The cushion is comfortable. The style is modern. The color is great and it just looks real nice in my kitchen. I have had them for a while and just use some bumpers on the feet so it won’t scratch my wood floors.
