I ordered two of these for 20 dollars each. After seeing the reviews, I wasn’t sure what I was going to get, but figured for $40, it was worth giving it a try. They turned out to be quite satisfactory — easy to put together, the capacity much larger than I assumed, and best of all, it is difficult to topple them over, which is important for families with small kids. I know there are quite a few reviews complaining about the build quality, but that’s what makes them perfect. Sure, when you assemble them, the screws would make the boards creak, but they still hold well together. Even if you spent twice or even triple the price, you are still not getting mahogany, but only similar cheaply made stuff, so may as well get something functional at the cheapest price.
UPDATE: I gave a 5-star review over a year ago when they cost about 20 bucks each. I have since collected more discs than can fit on two of these, so I purchased a 3rd one for almost twice the cost (and it was supposed to be a prime day deal). It is definitely overpriced, and the quality has in fact gone down. Two of the screw holes are stripped out of the box so I could not tighten the screws. I will need to fix them using toothpicks and wood glue. Also the pegs holes in side walls and the grooves in shelves can be misaligned, so one of the shelves doesn’t sit flat. I am changing my rating to a 3-star (which is still quite generous). I don’t recommend this item anymore.

This is easy to put together and pretty sturdy. As others have said, it is made for dvds and cds so if you are looking to store heavier items or books it may not hold up long term.
I read the dimensions before buying this so I knew it was going to be small, and that’s exactly what I wanted. However, I can see how some people might be upset with the size. The picture on the website and on the box shows five shelves, one with a lot of extra space. However, in actuality it only has room for four shelves. I have two extra shelf pieces that I’m keeping in case one breaks. You can’t move the shelves to make smaller CD shelves or try to make the shelves the exact size of a DVD case because of the placement of the peg holes. You could create a couple tiny shelves for knickknacks but that’s about it. So, if you’re visualizing a unit that has room for 5-6 shelves you may be picturing something larger than it actually is.
Overall though, I am happy with this purchase. I wanted something small for my bedroom and this is it. And it is sooo much sturdier than the plastic piece of crap I bought before this.

I was looking for something like this. It’s not that big or small. It’s the perfect size. I used 3m strips to hang on the wall. It stores my CDs and cassette tapes perfectly. I highly recommend.

The build is similiar to ikea but cheaper. So it goes together easily enough.
At the time of purchase … 30 percent off equaled the US price (coverted to cdn dollars) and the indicated shipping and import fees. In other words, you need to see it at 30 percent off to pay the US retail price 🙁
Please see the pics to get an idea of the size relative to the ikea kallax it is sitting on. In one pic, a regular sized pringle tube is placed in front for scale. (totally unrelated, but in the pringle pic you can see where 3 commando strips failed holding one pic frame on wood paneling.)
A solid 72 percent in use … been awhile now. No anchoring has been needed. (mileage will very if have wee ones to worry about)

La información del producto dice tener capacidad de hasta 230-240 discos, dvd, blue Ray etc……ya en la práctica solo caben 130 discos (entre blue Ray y dvd)….nada es madera puro MDF, se siente frágil.

Product arrived timely and double boxed, no shipping damage or missing pieces. Assembly instructions are basic (easy to follow) but like some of the other reviewers the wooden allignment pegs for the main shelves did not line up correctly with the side panels. Ended up getting it together with some careful alignment and slowly putting in the screws as to not damage the shelves which overal didn’t take too long. Once assembled shelf holds sturdy and blends in nicely with my other similar shelving. Good for storing Blu-rays, Games, and other small light collectibles as advertised.

I got this as a VHS holder and it is just perfect! VHSs in cardboard sleeves fit like a glove and I can get 15 across exactly. Only downside is it can’t fit the plastic cases since they’re a bit bigger, but I’m not surprised – it’s an odd shape. Really glad I finally found something to display and store my collection!!

It works pretty well but for what I paid ($30 with discounts) but I still feel like it was too expensive for what you get. It is lacking basic features like stick on/screw in rubber feet and glue for the pegs, and it really needs a little tube of glue since it is not the most sturdy when assembled dry. I had to order more wood glue since mine dried out but I will be taking this apart and gluing the pegs to give it some stability. The finish could also be a lot better and I had to hit a lot of the edges with a black Sharpie so they don’t look scuffed. It would also be nice if I could have paid a little less for less shelves since this only has space for 4 shelves when used with DVD or Switch cases.
Even with those issues it is exactly what I was looking for size wise and it does hold a good amount of DVDs. If you have a small collection (120 DVDs or less) and want a little decent looking shelf that stays out of the way this does the job. The wider top is a nice feature and works great as a display shelf due to the height of the rack. The part label stickers also came off with minimal effort which made final cleanup a lot easier. At $25 or less this is a good deal but anything more just makes it OK. Stick on rubber feet and wood glue would make it a better deal.

I had pretty low expectations for this thing when I ordered it. Installation was painless and I was very surprised at the quality once it was assembled. It’s super cheap, but it’s nice for the price. Would absolutely recommend.
