I really wanted to love this cabinet. Unfortunately there were missing parts, poor craftsmanship, misaligned holes for screws. There was also missing holes in handles which I had to drill through metal parts to get the screws in to connect the handles to the doors. I normally love flat pack furniture and enjoy putting it together, this piece fell short and there was no way to contact the seller (that I could locate) as I would have preferred a chance to replace the missing parts before adding a negative review.

I loved the photos of this product shown by the seller and buyers. However, after getting it, I have a few observations:
1) It took 3 weeks to get the product shipped. Once shipped, I received it fast.
2) the assembly was “moderate”. Not easy but not impossible. You have to be very careful selecting the pieces for each step since it came just with drawings as instructions.
3) material is cheap and fragile. While putting the screws, the laminate peeks off. For assembly, I used the foam panels that came in the box to protect the cabinet. Also, the rear panel is VERY thin. I’m not sure if this will be a furniture that will las long enough. I don’t feel confortable putting too much weight on it.
4) the doors doesn’t align as I would expected. There is a noticeable gap between the doors. I’ve tried adjusting the screws to see it it gets less open, but it doesn’t (see image)
I bought this cabinet for a home office space to organize and storage a few stuffs (books, documents, etc). It gets the job done, but not sure for how long. I expected a better quality.

The doors, no matter how much you adjusted them, we’re gapped way too much. Once we built the unit, the return date had expired, forcing us to add a strip of white pine board behind the gap so it shows white instead of seeing what is in the cupboard. The doors stick out past the cabinet side as shown in the photo. The gold knob and it’s screw did not tightened therefore we had to buy another screw, and if the bolt doesn’t screw in tightly, we will be forced to buy 2 knobs.

We absolutely love these cabinets! We ordered three of these cabinets for our office storage and couldn’t be happier with our purchase. They are very pretty cabinets and are a nice balance of organic/modern with a hint of glam for a good price. The rattan is authentic and woven very nicely. The slight variation of color in the rattan makes the cabinet look really lovely and also makes the cabinets look more expensive than they are.
If you follow the directions, these cabinets are reasonably easy to put together. It probably took us about 30 to 40 minutes to put one cabinet together. Be sure not to overscrew the parts with mechanical screwdrivers and have patience while adjusting the front doors so that they are level.
These cabinets are also pretty sturdy. I wouldn’t overfill the cabinets with bricks and barbells or other very heavy items, but these cabinets will hold normal storage (laptops, books, office supplies, clothing, etc.) without any problem.
To address the other reviewer who posted photos of scratched cabinets: All three of the cabinets we received were in great condition. There were no paint problems at all and no scratches at all on any of the cabinets we purchased. I tried to show that in the photos I provided. When we wanted a replacement part because the rattan on one cabinet was slightly darker than the others, we contacted Anmytek through Amazon and a very nice employee (Anna?) responded quickly and sent the part to us right away at no charge. I believe the part was shipped from China and it was here in a few days, so that was also impressive.
So, overall we are thrilled with our purchase. Our formerly dark office now is light and airy due to these cabinets and some other matching items we bought on Amazon. Yay!

I bought this cabinet for prettier shoe storage in our hall closet. I buy a lot of this sort of furniture and build it myself. This came with the EASIEST instructions I’ve ever seen and extra of each piece (screws etc, not the actually wood pieces). It says 2 people are needed to build it but I did it myself in an hour or so. I used a drill. The only tricky part was the hinges – the illustrations could’ve been clearer to show how to attach them. The finished piece is beautiful and sturdy and just want I needed!

I bought this cabinet to use as a shoe rack and it looks great! Fits all my shoes and there’s space underneath for a shoe mat. Installation was easy and it’s a sturdy product.

What my husband and I both love about this product is the ease of assembly. Instructions were easy to understand, along with the illustrations. All the accessories were bagged individually and marked. The product itself is nice to look at in any room. Bought two units for my tv and comes with lots of storage underneath, sturdy and heavy.

My new favorite piece of furniture. I love the boho and modern chic style. You can see that in both the rattan texture on the cabinet doors, the crisp white finish, and the golden handles. I can imagine this cabinet fits in every room in the home. In the kitchen, it would make a wonderful buffet. In the bathroom, it’s perfect for storing toilet paper and towels. I opted for the living. In there it acts as a window seat for my lovely bird of paradise.
There is some assembly required but I found it to be very easy. The instructions are easily detailed and the pieces are clearly labeled. It took me no more than 45 minutes by myself.
I really appreciate the MDF material and the metal base and legs. This gives it a bit more protection from things like water, vacuum cleaners, and clumsy adults.
Overall, I would rate the Anmytek Rattan Cabinet as a 10/10. It’s easy to assemble, made from solid materials, and brings a certain elegance to any room.
