The materials are simple but solid, however the way it’s designed to be assembled make it really sturdy. I’m actually surprised by the design plus the instructions are clear and easy to follow. All I needed was my impact driver and a hex bit. The drawers are super simplistic and I feel unsure about leaving the area exposed to the floor and dust but that’s easily fixed with a cover. Overall for the price it’s pretty darn good, it overachieved.

For the cost, this was a great purchase. I was worried when I realized how heavy the box was(BIG 100ish lbs) Some reviews said parts were missing & customer service required them to return the entire shipment back, and/or weren’t very helpful in sending missing items either quickly or at all. The way this box was packaged, there would have been NO WAY to pull every item out to check for missing parts & then repackage it how it came, get it to a return store with hope the next one wouldn’t encounter the same issue. I think it would have been better if parts were shipped in two smaller boxes. Needed a hand truck to move myself so if you have stairs or live in an apartment.. consider building the parts first then moving it piece by piece.
LUCKILY, I had every piece & I’m very happy with the quality at this price point. I ordered a Gray Queen frame. Assembly by myself took about 3.5-4hrs. If I had an extra person, I think full build would’ve been 1.5hrs. Every bolt is hand cranked, & lot of screws with the included Allen wrench. Wish I could have used a drill.. but instructions we’re pretty clear cut & easy to follow. NEED to use them.
Can’t give a full 5 stars because 1) I haven’t filled the under the bed drawers yet. On carpet & with the strange little drawer latch holes, & metal wire baskets, not sure if I’ll get annoyed to store daily items like clothes or just use them for occasional storage. I feel like the latch holes could be designed better? The drawers aren’t on tracks. They just kind of float flush to the edge of the frame. 2) wooden slats are VERY cheap. Almost balsa wood I think? Putting the plastic connector ends on caused some splitting.. and a few splinters. stronger wood & end connectors would make it way better. Not confident in long term use that they’ll hold up or survive multiple disassembly, but does the job for now.
Future moves will 100% be easier than first time build. I plan on keeping this for a guest bedroom down the road. Would be great for older kids to young adults like myself. Too much weight or jumping/ bouncing may not hold up long term, but for under $200 & a couple years of use for a cute bed frame.. definitely would recommend. (If you’re willing to take the 30% risk of a big item that’s near impossible to return if it shows up to you with missing parts or damage.) Also, it’s low to the ground, so if you’re into higher beds or use a box frames, this product probably won’t be a good fit for you. Overall, great bed for the money. Just be aware of your needs. Felt like I was gambling $200 to either receive a good deal or a major headache & CS nightmare.. haha

Assembled and started using this a few days ago, and I’m so happy with it. The frame itself is super sturdy and stable, all metal pieces and thick screws/bolts, with very precise dimensions not allowing it to wiggle around at all, so it’s squeak-free so far. Every piece was labeled and the instructions pamphlet was easy to follow, with all the screws and other tiny pieces very well-packaged and labeled as well. The cloth on the headboard, footboard and draws is soft and decent quality. The gray is bit better-looking in person than in the photos, it should be pretty versatile to work with your decor.
Pros:
– very solid, sturdy
– easy-ish assembly (lot of steps, but easy-to-follow instructions)
– very, very high quality for the price
– great engineering
Cons:
– it’s super heavy when assembled, you will likely have to disassemble it to move it to another home
– the wooden support slats use thick plastic pegs instead of bolts to attach to the frame; the pegs may dry-rot over time and need to be replaced with bolts
Summary:
I’m super happy with this purchase, and honestly think it will be worth the disassembly and reassembly for our next move. If it suits your fashion, I highly recommend.

I’ve put together a lot of furniture over the years. This bed is sturdy! The parts were good quality and the instructions easy to follow. It only takes a single included allen wrench to assemble. The wrench could be better to ease assembly but its a one time use and then thrown away. The fit and finish is good. While the headboard isn’t grand or plush, it simple and elegant. Once completely assembled the bed is sturdy. At first the wood slats seem undersized, but once the mattress is on I couldn’t tell. It would take an adult to jump up and down on the mattress to possibly break it. Don’t plan on putting heavy items in the drawers as they are wire baskets on wheels. They are great for winter clothes, wrapping paper, spare linens etc.. I’m using this bed in a guest room. It would be great for kids/teen bedrooms and if your on a budget the master bedroom. 5 for sturdiness, style, and assembly. 4 on the drawers. This is a post assembly review, not a long term review.

I generally don’t like metal bed frames but this one is so beautiful. It was easy to put together alone and and the under bed storage was a wonderful addition. The bed is quite sturdy. Great value for your money.
